Computer Vision Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Vision Engineer with strong C++ programming skills to join our dynamic team at Speedcargo. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and solutions to solve complex problems in air freight logistics sector.

  • Develop and implement scalable computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Design, develop, and optimize image processing pipelines for real-time applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and ensure seamless integration of computer vision systems.
  • Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning techniques.
  • Perform data acquisition, pre-processing, and augmentation to build robust and scalable computer vision models.
  • Design and implement algorithms for object detection, recognition, pose estimation to enable efficient and accurate cargo handling processes.
  • Evaluate and optimize computer vision algorithms for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to computer vision systems and provide timely solutions.
  • Document the development process, algorithms, and results for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to integrate computer vision solutions into larger software systems.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of computer vision concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming language, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with computer vision libraries, such as OpenCV, and ability to utilize them effectively for developing vision-based applications.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for computer vision tasks.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing image processing pipelines for real-time applications.
  • Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and statistics for computer vision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GPU programming and parallel computing frameworks (e.g., CUDA).
  • Familiarity with robotics, augmented reality (AR), or virtual reality (VR) technologies.
  • Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques, such as combining camera data with other sensors for perception tasks.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
